I wish I had something exciting or funny to share but I don't. Life is just going on as normal. Well as normal as can be with a new baby. Ava is doing well. She has been getting a little fussy lately but the poor girl has bad gas. Can you blame her for crying about it? Surprisingly it hasn't affected her night time sleeping. This past week she has only been waking up once maybe twice during the night. For someone who does NOT do well on little sleep it has been a nice treat. She is so young though that I'm not expecting it to be permanent. I'm just grateful for the time I have right now.
Chris has been sick for a few days so he hasn't been holding Ava. As hard as it will be to keep her from getting sick too, we are doing everything we can. This means that I am always the one holding her and soothing her. I miss being able to hand her off to Chris. He misses her too. He wants to hold her so bad. I am hoping against hope that she doesn't get sick though. We are going to Oklahoma in a few days and I would really hate to be traveling with a sick baby. I'm already worried about being one of those people that has a screaming baby on an airplane. Being sick would only make it worse. We'll let you know how it goes.

Sorry to hear that Chris has been sick. Samm and James have both been coughing but thats it thank goodness. Have the gas drops helped at all?
Gas... she get's it from her Dad. Yesterday we were asking Drew who he wanted at his Birthday Party. We said, "Do you want to invite baby Ava"? He just started cracking up! "Ava... ha, ha, ha... Ava...ha, ha..." for probably 5 minutes. Ryan was here too. It was really funny. I guess he will have to see her to believe it but I think he likes her name!
