It just so happens, Amy, that I'm not wallowing in self pity. :)
I have been in Medford, OR for two weeks visiting family and when I got back I had a ton of pictures that I was so excited to blog about. Unfortunately the battery on my camera died and I left the battery charger behind in Medford. Even more unforunate, I can't load the pictures from my camera onto my computer if the camera won't turn on. So, All of the fun and exciting pictures I have to share will have to wait.....and that brings me to my next point. Chris and I are officially moving on Monday. Which means, my internet use will be zip until we get the internet re-established at our new place...which could be a couple of weeks.
Most likely my blog will stay as is for the next few weeks. But don't fret, I will be back. And by then I'll have tons of pictures to share!
I do have one quick story though:
While I was in Medford, my 5 year old neice Samm, did something that made me laugh so hard I cried...which I haven't done in a long time! Samm likes to draw and color and I'm not sure where she got the idea from but she started drawing a nest with eggs in it. At one point I heard her tell my sister, while showing her the drawings, "look mom, their kid eggs". I thought it was kind of funny at the time that she would even think to make the kid eggs instead of bird eggs. Later that day, I, along with my sister, mom, and dad, were standing in the kitchen chatting; probably something about what we were going to make for dinner. Anyway, I hear Samm (who is sitting in the living room not far away, say "look mom, I had my baby". I look over to see my 3 year old nephew laying on the ground with Samm straddling him across the neck so all that is showing is his head! It honestly looked like she was having a baby. All four of us realized this at the same exact time and we all died laughing!! If you can really picture exactly how they were positioned, you would see why "look mom, I had my baby" was so histerical to us. Samm of course had no idea why we were laughing and Sally later told me that what she meant was that she had laid her egg. Either way, it was freakin hilarious! Or, I don't know, maybe you just had to be there.

It was so fun seeing you and Ava in Medford. I can't wait until you have your Oregon pictures up, in the mean time I'll enjoy this post. I laughed out loud when I read the "kid egg" story. Samm is so cute.
Good luck with the move. If we can help with anything let us know!
I know this is totally random but have you been watching the olympics? Beach volleyball? I think you kind of look like the blonde. It made me really miss you. If you don't know who I am talking about look it up and then let me know what you think. :o)

I totally agree with Katie about you looking like the beach volleyball player! I had been thinking it and then Bobby asked me if she looked like you.. haha. He barely knows you but he thought you two looked alike. Anyway, miss you!! Hope you're doing well.
