Well it's not much to look at yet but maybe there is someone out there who will be interested in seeing our progress. Saturday we (meaning my dad and Dan of course) finished up the footings and got everything for inspection.

Monday morning we had our inspection and were given to OK to continue. We called for concrete and it came a few hours later.
In order to get down to the basement the concrete is poured into this pump truck and it then comes out the black hose at the bottom.
There's my dad directing the concrete so it went where we wanted it. Dan on the sidelines getting ready to start smoothing it out.
More smoothing.
My dad keeps giving me a hard time about being a ranchers wife who just sits around drinking lemonade all day. I like to call is supervising.
