Sledding Party

Chris and I took Ava sledding the other day to get her out of the house. She loves the outdoors and cries to go outside but with so much snow it's hard to let her out. So we went sledding on a little hill by our house. Chris and I took turns taking Ava down the hill. She had a lot of fun.
Chris tried pulling Ava up the hill instead of having to hold her, but for some reason she didn't really like that. Only on the way home when dad pulled mom and her did she enjoy it. And of course, so did I!

I love that you guys are both wearing short sleeves! I also love your boots.

I was just thinking the same thing. You are deceiving with your T-shirts and the snow. Weren't you guys cold?

Colorado is great that way. It can be the middle of winter and we can have a foot of snow but still be warm because of the sun. (plus we were hiking up the hill and working up a bit of a sweat that way). Also, the boots are called "Muck" Boots and they are awesome!

I won't comment on the t-shirt thing either, but that was my first thoughts as well. Your kids will have lots of fun someday when they will go do that on their own. In Michigan I spent many winter days doing the same thing. do you have a place for an ice skating rink also? Again, many hours and fond memories.

Looks like a lot of fun. Utah is getting a ton of snow this year, too. I can't wait to go snowshoeing! I will be wearing full snow gear, however. ;)
