Happy Easter

Halfway through this project I thought for sure I'd be too embarrassed to let Ava ever wear this. But it turns out I'm not as bad at sewing as I thought. I made Ava this dress for Easter and I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself. I guess it's going to be a Happy Easter after all!!

When I was a little girl my sisters and I would always have little gloves and a hat to wear with our Easter dresses. I'd love to do that for Ava too. If you know where I could find some let me know!!

Oh my goodness Jenn. The dress is so so so adorable! Way to go you! You are braver than me. I would have never tried to make a dress... but maybe I will now. Good job!

The dress is absolutely precious!! And she looks adorable in it.

As far as hat and gloves, I've seen some at Target, but I'm not sure if they'd be small enough... they were right in between the toddler aisle and the girls aisle, and I didn't stop to try them on either one of my girls.

Ava is so proud of her dress! Usually any store has hats and gloves around Easter. I've even seen them at the dollar store before.

That is so cute...sewing must run in the family huh? I wish I could sew sometimes but I am really scared of the sewing machine. Looks like a big nasty monster to me. You did a great job and Ava looks so cute.
